Formatting style (bold, italic, underline, strike a line)

In documents, you can improve the visual appeal of your text by utilizing various formatting styles such as bold, italics, underlining, and strikethrough. These formatting options emphasize important information, provide emphasis, or indicate changes.

Formatting styles

Bold

  1. Open Knowledge Base Editor.

  2. Select the text.

  3. Click on the "B" icon in the formatting toolbar to apply the bold style to the text.

  4. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + B to apply the bold style to the text.

Italic

  1. Open the Knowledge Base Editor.

  2. Select the text.

  3. Click on the "I" icon in the formatting toolbar to apply the italic style to the text.

  4. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + I to apply the italic style to the text.

Underline

  1. Open the Knowledge Base Editor.

  2. Select the text.

  3. Click on the "U" icon in the formatting toolbar to apply the underlined formatting to the text.

  4. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + U to apply the underline formatting to the text.

Strike a line

  1. Open Knowledge Base Editor.

  2. Select the text.

  3. Click on S button in the formatting toolbar to apply the strike-through formatting to the text.

  4. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + X to apply strike-through formatting to text.
