Article configurations

The settings associated with your knowledge base articles are crucial for optimizing their visibility and accessibility. Understanding how to adjust these settings can enhance search engine optimization (SEO) and improve article titles and user-friendly URLs.

The link is a unique component of the article's URL that identifies it. It often reflects the title or a shortened version of it. If you wish to modify the link, find the field where it is displayed and edit it accordingly. You can adjust it to make it more SEO-friendly.

NeetoKB allows you to set meta titles, descriptions, and keywords for each article. These tags provide essential information to search engines, improving the article's visibility and ranking in search results.

Page title

The page title indicates the title of the web page. It is shown as part of the search snippet on the search engine results page and appears as a clickable headline for the search result.

Meta description

The meta description summarizes the article and is displayed as part of the search snippet on the search engine results page. It is meant to give the user a brief idea of the page's content and how it relates to their search query.

Keywords

Let's say you have an article about billing. Users cannot find your article by searching for terms like pricing, invoicing, accounting, etc. However, adding these terms as keywords to your article will help others discover it. Furthermore, these keywords assist search engines in understanding the article's content, thereby improving its ranking in search results.
