You can enable search engine indexing to let articles be indexed by search engines, helping them appear in search results. By default, search engine indexing is turned on.
Enable indexing
Step 1
Make sure that the Knowledge Base is publicly accessible.
If the Knowledge Base is private, search engines cannot index it. Knowledge Bases are public by default. If you have made it private, make it public using the following steps:
Go to the Admin panel.
Click on Security.
Click on Public, anyone can access KB.
Click Save Changes.
Step 2
Allow search engine crawling.
When the search engine crawling is disabled, search engines cannot index the articles from the Knowledge Base. To allow search engine crawling:
Go to the Admin panel.
Click on Search Engine Optimization.
Enable the toggle to Allow Search Engines to crawl KB articles.
Click on Save Changes.
